I make complex things feel clear.

Portrait of Eduard Bilý

Currently designing in banking,
open to new challenges beyond it.

I’m Eduard, a medior UX and product designer currently working in banking, crafting clear and useful digital experiences.

I began my career in the Česká spořitelna trainee program, where I learned how to navigate complex systems while balancing customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints. Today, I work across the product-design process—from defining problems and mapping flows to designing interfaces, prototyping interactions, and contributing to scalable design systems.

SELECTED WORK · 2025—26

Projects built around people.

01Loan application redesignMobile banking · Product design

Transforming a dense legacy back-office tool into a clearer tablet workspace for staff handling loan applications.

Context & challenge

The existing back-office interface spread critical application details across a dated, information-heavy workspace. Staff needed to assess applicants, commitments, exceptions, and progress without losing context.

Approach & solution

I redesigned the experience for tablet use, organizing information around the decisions staff make and giving related data a clearer hierarchy. The new overview, commitments, and exceptions screens make complex cases easier to scan and act on.

02Income document upload redesignMobile banking · UX/UI

Making a demanding document step easier to understand before customers commit to uploading files.

Context & challenge

The original screen explained the requirement in a dense paragraph and left important details about the expected documents and file format easy to miss. Customers had to interpret too much before they could continue.

Approach & solution

My redesign separates the document request, practical guidance, upload action, and optional note into clear groups. Stronger hierarchy and a concise tip make the next step easier to scan without hiding essential information.

03Loan consolidationDigital banking · Responsive product design

Helping clients combine several loans and commitments into one clearer monthly repayment across desktop and mobile.

Context & challenge

Loan consolidation asks clients to make several connected decisions: which commitments to transfer, which institution holds each debt, whether to borrow additional money, and what the new repayment could look like. The flow needed to make those choices understandable without hiding the financial detail behind them.

Approach & solution

I designed a responsive experience that keeps the same decision order on both desktop and mobile. Selected commitments, estimated payoff amounts, additional borrowing, and the projected new repayment are grouped into distinct steps, with supporting explanations placed where clients need them.
